Hello! My name is Scott Brazil and I am excited to join Risen Savior and serve this parish community as a Faith Formation Coordinator. A little bit about me: I have been married for 7 1/2 years to my wife Jamie, and we currently reside in Belle Plaine. We have two beautiful daughters, Alayna (age 5) and Sofia (age 2) and also a house filled with pets (3 cats and a dog).
I grew up in Bloomington (graduate of Jefferson High School), and after serving four years in the Navy, I studied theology at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.
My most recent ministry position was Faith Formation Director at Our Lady of the Lake in Mound. I have also served in ministry positions at St. Edward's in Bloomington and St. Thomas More in Glendale, AZ. In addition, I was a theology teacher and campus minister at Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria for three years. I look forward to meeting many of you in the coming weeks.
