A Sponsor's Reflection . . .

As Fr. Tim asked in his homily for the feast of Christ the King: "How will we be remembered?" It's true that we probably won't have a building or room named after us, nor will we be inducted into a Hall of Fame, but we can make an important difference in someone's life all the same: Be a sponsor of someone wishing to become Catholic. I have been a sponsor for 4 years in the RCIA program, and have found it to be the most rewarding faith formation experience I've ever had. It's challenging, and educational, and a great chance to make friendships that will last the rest of your life. So please consider joining this worthwhile program. You'll find it to be an uplifting, enjoyable experience. And yes, I guarantee you'll be remembered!
