Tim Schaefer is a retired pastor with over 30 years of experience teaching the Crossways! Bible study material. 

The bible is a large book, written by people from the middle east centuries ago.  It requires more than being translated from Hebrew and Greek in order for us westerners to make sense of it.  By giving Crossways participants the “big picture” of scripture and being mindful not only of the overall story line, but also of the middle eastern culture, a new and radical Jesus emerges, who calls us “out of empire” to take up residence in “the Kingdom of God.”

Tim has volunteered to commit to teach this two year material here at Risen Savior.  He is confident that you will benefit mightily from taking this enlightening and liberating journey. 

Registration deadline was Thursday, September 1, 2011.

The following are the dates for the 2011/2012 Crossways Bible Study (Mondays from 6:30-8:30 p.m.):

• 2012: 9/10, 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10 and 12/17

• 2013: 1/7, 1/14, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22 and 4/29.
