Food on the First

"Food on the First" is a new event at Risen Savior following an appeal by the Community Action Council in Lakeville to increase the amound of donated food. Fr. Tim introduced this with  story about how students who came to a school founded by the Christian Brothers oftentimes could not afford a lunch. So, the Brothers asked any students who came with excess food to put it in a "Common Basket" so that those who needed it could be fed. 

This Food Drive will now happen at Risen Savior on the first weekend of every month. Please be generous when you come to church on these weekends and share what you can to help others who don't have enough. Thank you!
