Peacemakers

"Happy the peacemakers, they shall be called sons and daughter of God."  You can find this Beatitude in Matthew's gospel (5:3-12).  The Peacemakers can be found here at Risen Savior.  They are a group of women that gather on the first and third Thursday of the month from 3-5 p.m. to share their common interest of quilting.  They are building community one stitch at a time.  The quilts are highlighted with quotations from scripture and are a comfort to those experiencing illness or grief.  Sewing knowledge is not necessary to join the group.
