First Reconciliation

Together in Jesus: First Reconciliation Preparation at Risen Savior

First Reconciliation preparation can begin as early as second grade, but is designed for elementary aged students and families.  There is also a middle school component for older students.  Parents are the primary teachers of the student using materials designed to help students prepare for the Sacrament. NEW THIS YEAR is a condensed session calendar and a retreat prior to the celebration,.  This calendar is intended for those receiving their First Reconciliation; however, all Faith Formation grade levels will receive teachings on Reconciliation and will be invited to attend the Celebration of Reconciliation on Tuesday, January 26, 2010.

2009 Preparation Dates

  • Parents only: Tuesday, October 6, 2009 6:30-8:00 p.m.
  • Parents and students: Tuesday, November 10, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
  • Parent/Student Retreat: Tuesday, January 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. OR Saturday, January 16 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
 
FIRST RECONCILIATION CELEBRATION:
Tuesday, January 26, 2010 - 7:00 pm
