Emmaus

What is Risen Savior Emmaus?

It is a one-time retreat experience where women gather to be ministered to by other Risen Savior women. For women who wish to experience God, renew and deepen their relationship with the Lord, this is a time for personal growth. The women arrive on Friday night closed off and wary but leave Sunday afternoon with their hearts open to the Lord. The fellowship and friendships created at the retreat are shared at monthly coffees, twice a year dinners, and simply finding familiar faces at Mass. Emmaus is not only at Risen Savior, St. John Neumann was the first Twin Cities parish to host an retreat. The retreat is based on the Gospel of Luke 24:13-35.

Where and when is it held?

Our retreats are held the third weekend in October (this year it is Friday night October 23rd to Sunday afternoon October 25th, 2009) at the Franciscan Retreat Center in Prior Lake, MN.
